Description

Garden table Cotiella

Make this stable, elegant table all by yourself using our clear furniture plan. The manual and cutting diagram are tailored to standard sizes of sheet material, but the sizes are easy to convert to other standard available outdoor wood / garden wood. For the table, we advise to use a good protective lacquer for outdoor use; in particular, the tabletop should be protected against weather influences. Many joints are screwed. When dowels are given as an alternative, there is also a detailed explanation so that you can get started with full confidence. In the manual we explain how to do that. Finally, some oblique sides need to be sawn; this is also explained. You can have the cutting done by a professional, wood trade or hardware store, but if you cut yourself you only need 1 sheet. A clever cutting plan shows you how

The design

We have of course tried to design an original and practical piece of furniture. At this table, we have taken a number of specific things into account.
The sizes are adjusted in such a way that only 1 sheet is needed. Furthermore, the table is easy to disassemble, for transport or to be able to store more easily in the winter. This table is solid but elegant and easy to move. A unique Neo-eko design in your own unique version.

Details

We pay a lot of attention to keeping screw joints out of sight as much as possible. For the screws that still remain in the sight, you will find instructions to camouflage them as much as possible. If you want to paint the unit, you can neatly hide any remaining evidence of screws with help from some filler. Our furniture makers’ tips describe how to do this.

Making it yourself

Finally, the design is tailored to the possibilities and limitations of the DIY’er and his/her tools. If you have a handsaw (sometimes jigsaw) and drill and can handle it, you can make all our furniture, so to speak. If you have professional tools, it only gets easier.

Adapt dimensions yourself

As you may have already seen from the photos of furniture made, it is easy to make changes in the dimensions and / or the design yourself. The clear cut list and construction drawings automatically give you the confidence to do that.

The work drawings pack / the furniture plans

The manual and drawings package consists of a beautifully designed booklet (PDF) of 16 pages in A4 format. At the start you’ll find a list of necessities such as the wood, screws (size and number), glue and any other parts. Also listed are the tools that you will need and a cutting list with dimensions of all the parts that make up the piece of furniture.
Finally, a step-by-step plan follows the manual for the assembly of the table, with clear drawings and plain explanations.

Tips from the professional

Each furniture design drawing contains several applicable furniture maker tips about the choice of materials, cutting, screws, gluing, sanding and lacquering, etc. When doweling is mentioned as an alternative, an explanation is also included, enough to get started with self-confidence.
